Entertainment News: Sudden firing of bullets outside Bollywood actress Disha Patni's ancestral house in Bareilly created a stir in the area. Two unidentified attackers came on a motorcycle and fled from the spot after firing eight rounds. The police believe that this attack may be related to the controversial statement of Disha Patni's elder sister, Khushboo Patni, who is a former military officer. However, Disha and Khushboo's father have clearly denied this and said that Khushboo's words were presented in the wrong way.
On September 12, at around 6 am, the sound of gunfire suddenly echoed outside Villa No. 40 located in the Civil Lines area of Bareilly. This house belongs to Disha Patni's father, Jagdish Patni, who is a retired CO. According to eyewitnesses, two unknown youths came on a motorcycle. Standing outside the house, they fired eight rounds continuously. After the firing, they fled from there quickly.
As soon as the incident was reported, several police teams reached the spot. SSP Anurag Arya inspected the spot and said that several empty cartridges have been recovered from the spot. He said, "The investigation has been handed over to the Crime Branch to nab the attackers. CCTV footage is being scanned and the search for the accused is on."

A few hours after this incident, Punjab's notorious gangster Goldie Brar took responsibility for the firing by posting on social media. He wrote in the post, "Jai Shri Ram!" Today, we have done the firing at Khushboo Patni and Disha Patni's house (Villa No. 40, Civil Lines, Bareilly). Khushboo Patni has insulted our revered saints Premanand Ji Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Ji Maharaj. This is just a warning. Next time if someone disrespects our religion, no one will survive in his house." Brar also indirectly threatened other artists of the film industry and people associated with them.
Khushboo Patni's controversial statement and viral video This entire controversy is related to a viral video in which Khushboo Patni was seen criticizing spiritual guru Aniruddhacharya. In fact, Aniruddhacharya had made a controversial comment about live-in relationships in his sermon, saying that "unmarried women above the age of 25 have lived in many relationships." On this, Khushboo Patni reacted strongly and said, "Does he come with a bad face? If he were in front of me, I would have explained to him the real meaning of this. No one should support such a cheap person."
Khushboo further said, "Why did he not say that men living in live-in relationships also do the same? Is there only a woman in a live-in relationship? The decision to live in a live-in before marriage is not wrong. This secures the future of both the families." Although this video was later removed from social media, by then it had gone viral rapidly, and there was huge outrage among religious groups.
Aniruddhacharya later apologized and said that his words were misinterpreted and his intention was not to hurt anyone. Khushboo Patni also released a statement on Instagram in which she said that her words were distorted and Premananda Maharaj ji's name was wrongly added to it.
Khushboo wrote, "A false story is being spread online in which my name has been linked to Pujya Sant Premanand Maharaj Ji. My statement was only in response to Aniruddhacharya's comment."
SSP Anurag Arya said that after the firing, armed security has been provided to the Patni family. The crime branch is investigating the matter in depth. CCTV footage is being scanned. An alert has been issued against Goldie Brar and his network. The SSP assured the public that the attackers will be caught soon and strict action will be taken against them.
This case is not limited to just one firing. It has many aspects, like religious faith, increasing hatred on social media and freedom of expression. Khushboo's statement and the violence that followed it show how far the things said on social media can have an impact. With the name of gangster Goldie Brar coming to the fore, this matter has become even more serious for the police.
