Rashmika-Vijay To Host Grand Reception At Taj Krishna Hotel In Hyderabad, PM Modi Likely To Attend

Mumbai:  Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, who tied the knot on February 26, will host a grand wedding reception at the Taj Krishna hotel in Banjara Hills in Hyderabad on Wednesday and the event is scheduled to begin from 7 pm onwards.

The grand wedding reception, which is an invite-only evening, will be attended by film fraternity and some prominent political leaders.

The newlywed couple personally invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and his wife, Geetha. Allu Arjun and his family are also expected to join the celebrations.

The couple's team in an official statement on said that the grand reception will be strictly 'invite-only' due to security reasons, with gathering for members of the film fraternity including, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada industries and some prominent political leaders.

Few weeks ago, a wedding card had been doing rounds on the social media which revealed the details of the reception.

The invitation read, “I’m writing to share some special news and to invite you to be part of a huge moment in our lives. With the love and blessings of our families, Rashmika and I will be getting married on 26.02.26 in a small and intimate ceremony. As we begin this new chapter, celebrating and creating memories around our union, it would truly mean a lot to us to celebrate with those who have been a part of our journeys. Your presence and blessings would make this occasion even more special for us.”

It further added: "We warmly invite you to join us and bless us at our Wedding Reception. Wednesday, 04 March, 2026 | 7:00 PM onwards, Taj Krishna, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. We look forward to celebrating together. Warm regards, Vijay (on behalf of Rashmika & myself)."

Where did the wedding happen?

The on-screen couple, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, in Telugu films like 'Geetha Govindam and 'Dear Comrade' got married at ITC Mementos in Udaipur according to the Telugu customs at 10 am mahuratam, followed by a Kodava wedding in the evening, celebrating Rashmika's cultural heritage, on February 26.

The sangeet ceremony took place on February 24 at the hill resort of Mementos, followed by an intimate haldi ceremony and mehendi on February 25.
