Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna invite PM Modi To Their Reception in Hyderabad

New Delhi: The newly-wed couple Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, who tied the knot in Udaipur on Thursday in the presence of the close friends and family, are now preparing a wedding reception on March 4 in Hyderabad. 

The couple, with a beautiful name tag, Virosh, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi before their marriage to personally invite him to their wedding reception.  

Where did the couple meet PM Modi?

The couple met the Prime Minister Modi at the PM's office and invited him to the wedding reception. 

In the pictures, Vijay and Rashmika can be seen interacting with the Prime Minister Modi and later they gifted him a shawl. 

Did the couple met Amit Shah?

According to reports, the couple also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah before their marriage to invite him to the wedding reception.

What was the couple wearing?

The new bride was looking beautiful in a bright yellow suit and Vijay looked dapper in an off-white sherwani.

Had PM Modi wished the couple?

Ahead of 'The Wedding of VIROSH', a nickname given to couple by their fans, PM Modi had written a letter to the couple congratulating them. 

The letter read, "Smt. Madhavi & Shri Goverdhan Rao Deverakonda Ji, It is a pleasure to be invited by you to the wedding of Vijay and Rashmika to be held on 26 February 2026. Heartiest congratulations, and greetings to the Deverakonda and Mandanna families on this truly joyous and auspicious occasion. It marks the beginning of a new, beautiful chapter in the lives of Vijay and Rashmika (sic)."  

The letter further read, "Neither Vijay, nor Rashmika is new to scripts in their films. But this divinely scripted chapter of their real lives, filled with love and affection, will surely outshine the magic they have created on the silver screen. May the days, months and years to come be filled with shared dreams and their fulfilment. With thoughtfulness and love, may they share responsibilities, embrace each other's imperfections, learn from each other's strengths and journey through life as true partners. My blessings and best wishes to the couple and the families on the momentous occasion. Warm regards, Narendra Modi (sic)."

Where will the reception happen?

Rashmika and Vijay's wedding reception, which will take place on March 4 in Hyderabad.

Few weeks ago, a wedding card had been doing rounds on the social media which revealed the details of the reception.

The invitation announced a February 26 wedding ceremony followed by a reception on March 4 in Hyderabad.

The invitation read, “I’m writing to share some special news and to invite you to be part of a huge moment in our lives. With the love and blessings of our families, Rashmika and I will be getting married on 26.02.26 in a small and intimate ceremony. As we begin this new chapter, celebrating and creating memories around our union, it would truly mean a lot to us to celebrate with those who have been a part of our journeys. Your presence and blessings would make this occasion even more special for us.”
