International News: After being defeated by India, the Pakistani government is trying to deceive its people and is organising 'Jashn-e-Pakistan' rallies in different parts. But when this rally was organised in Balochistan, the Baloch Army disrupted the celebrations. On Wednesday, this rally organised by the government in Quetta was targeted with a powerful explosion followed by firing, in which one person died and at least ten others were injured.

Police said that the rally was going from Sariab Customs towards the city when it was attacked near Munir Mengal Road. Armed attackers allegedly threw a grenade and opened fire on the people participating in the rally. Security forces immediately cordoned off the area. This action of the Baloch Army has made it clear that they can no longer tolerate the rule of the Pakistan government.

Anti-India Rally Turns Deadly in Quetta

Taking out an anti-India rally in Quetta proved to be a tragic miscalculation. Following the attack by Baloch fighters, the injured were immediately rushed to Quetta’s Civil Hospital and Bolan Medical Complex. One of the injured, identified as Mehboob Ali, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment in the hospital’s trauma centre. The incident triggered swift action from law enforcement agencies. The Quetta Police and the Anti-Terrorism Department (ATD) have launched a joint investigation into the deadly assault. According to Balochistan Health Department spokesperson Dr. Wasim Beg, a total of ten individuals were injured in the attack. The victims were mostly men between the ages of 20 and 50, and suffered from shrapnel and gunshot wounds.

BLA Sends a Stern Warning Amid Rising Indo-Pak Tensions

The attack is being viewed as a clear message from the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), which has been increasingly active in the region. Amid rising tensions between Pakistan and India, BLA’s presence has grown stronger, especially in Balochistan, where they have intensified their operations in recent weeks. Locals say such violent responses are a reflection of deep-rooted resentment against the state, especially when nationalistic rallies, like the one against India, are brought into conflict-ridden zones. As investigations continue, security forces remain on high alert, bracing for potential follow-up attacks in the volatile region.
