International News: Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has told his army to take full control of Gaza. This decision came just two days after Hamas and Islamic Jihad released disturbing videos of two Israeli hostages, Rom Braslavsky and Evyatar David.

The videos showed the hostages in very bad condition. One man was seen digging his own grave, while the other was crying for water and said he was too weak to walk because of hunger. These emotional and shocking videos created a lot of pressure on the Israeli government and Netanyahu.

Military Action Ordered

After these videos went public, Netanyahu gave a direct order to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to capture all of Gaza. At present, the Israeli army already controls about 75% of the area. Now, the plan is to take over the remaining parts, especially where they believe the hostages are being kept.

According to media reports, this is a major change in Israel’s strategy in the war. The Prime Minister’s Office also told the IDF chief that he must follow this order or resign from his position. This has created tension within the Israeli army, as some top officials are worried about the long-term effects of such actions.

Public Anger and Protests in Israel

After the hostage videos were shown, thousands of people in Israel came out on the streets. They demanded a ceasefire and the safe return of all hostages. It was one of the biggest public protests seen in recent months. The people are angry and want the government to act quickly and save the lives of the captives.

At the same time, Netanyahu also met with Red Cross officials and requested them to deliver food and medicine to the hostages. But reports say that Hamas is not allowing any aid to reach them.

Situation in Gaza is Getting Worse

While the military operations continue, the condition of civilians in Gaza is becoming more terrible. The United Nations says that more than 1,400 Palestinians have died since May, most of them while trying to get food. They were trying to reach food trucks connected to international aid but got caught in the chaos.

The Israeli army says it does not target civilians and only fires warning shots to control crowds. However, the reality on the ground is different. People in Gaza are facing extreme hunger, no clean water, lack of medicine, and daily bombings.

From March to May, Israel had fully blocked all supply routes to Gaza—no food, water, or medicine was allowed in. Although a small amount of aid has started entering due to international pressure, it is still not enough for the millions who are suffering.
