International News: The hunger crisis in Gaza is growing more severe with each passing day. On Sunday, Israeli soldiers opened fire on a crowd of starving people who were waiting for food aid in northern Gaza. According to reports, 67 people lost their lives in the incident. In the past two months, almost 1,000 people have died in similar attacks while trying to collect basic supplies.

Thousands had gathered to receive food, drinking water, and medicines from UN relief trucks. But chaos broke out, and the Israeli army opened fire. The army claimed that they only fired in the air to control the crowd and did not target anyone. However, hospitals confirmed that the bodies of 67 people who were shot were brought in, along with dozens of injured.

Saturday’s Incident Also Killed 42 Civilians

This is not the first time such violence has happened. Just a day before, on Saturday, Israeli soldiers had opened fire at two locations where people were gathering for food, killing 42 civilians.

Israeli Army Orders Evacuation of Central Gaza

Meanwhile, the Israeli army has issued a warning to residents of Deir al-Balah, an area in central Gaza, asking them to leave immediately. The army says it is planning to intensify military operations in that region. On Sunday, three houses in Gaza were destroyed in Israeli airstrikes. The exact number of casualties in those strikes is still unknown.

Over 58,000 Dead Since War Began in October

Since the war began on October 7, 2023, the situation in Gaza has become extremely critical. Estimates suggest that over 58,000 people have lost their lives, and more than 90% of the population has been forced to leave their homes. Thousands of dead bodies are still buried under the rubble of bombed buildings.

Israeli Hostages May Be in Deir al-Balah

Israeli military sources believe that Hamas is holding about 50 Israeli hostages in Deir al-Balah. v The army says it needs to clear the area for a rescue operation. However, families of the hostages are worried that a full-scale military attack could put their loved ones at even greater risk. They are demanding a safer way to bring the hostages back alive.

Gaza’s Humanitarian Situation Worsens

The people of Gaza are facing severe hunger, mass displacement, and continuous violence. With food becoming scarce and aid convoys under fire, the humanitarian crisis is deepening. Despite international appeals for peace and aid, the situation remains tragic and unresolved.
