New Delhi: The discussion regarding a very controversial proposal has intensified in the Parliament of Iran. According to reports, some MPs are preparing to bring such a law, under which it has been said that a reward worth crores of rupees will be given to the person who assassinates US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This development has come to light amid increasing tension between Iran and Western countries.
According to foreign media reports, leaders associated with the National Security Committee of the Iranian Parliament have claimed that a new bill is being prepared. This includes a proposal to provide financial rewards to those who take action against leaders considered enemies of Iran. Reports said that Donald Trump has been specifically mentioned in the proposed law.
According to reports, tensions increased further after the major attacks on Iran in February. Iranian leaders allege that America and Israel were behind these attacks. In this background, statements of fundamentalist leaders and some MPs are continuously coming to the fore.
According to reports, some members of the National Security Committee of Iran's Parliament said that America and Israel will have to answer for their actions. Some leaders have also given sharp reactions on public forums and social media. However, till now no official law has been passed by the Government of Iran regarding this proposal.
Even before this, statements and threats against Donald Trump have been coming out in Iran. Especially after the death of Iranian military commander Qasim Sulemani, opposition against Trump had increased further. Claims like announcing bounties against Trump and Israeli leaders were also made in many radical organizations and online campaigns.
Experts believe that if such proposals take formal form, it may further increase tension in West Asia. America and Israel are already keeping a close eye on Iran's activities. Meanwhile, any provocative statement or step can affect international diplomacy.
Donald Trump has already said that if any kind of action is attempted against America or him, a strong response will be given. The US administration has consistently taken a tough stance against Iran-backed organizations and activities.
