Iran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi spoke on the American TV channel NBC's program 'Meet the Press' and said many important things. Araghchi clearly said that Iran did not start this war, but this war has been imposed on them. Iran is responding only for its own security.
Araghchi said that Russia is a very good partner of Iran. There is ongoing cooperation between the two countries in many fields and military cooperation is also old. It was there before, it is there now and it will be there in future also. He also said that there are many aspects of military cooperation, but their details cannot be disclosed in public.
American intelligence agencies claim that Russia is giving information about the location of American soldiers to Iran, so that Iran can attack them. On this question, Araghchi neither said yes nor denied completely. Just said that he does not go into such military details, but the partnership with Russia is very strong.
On February 28, a bomb attack occurred on a school, killing more than 165 people – mostly children. Iran says it was an American airstrike. Araghchi said initial evidence suggested the attack occurred near a Revolutionary Guard base. He raised the question – If not America, then who else can? He rejected Trump's allegations outright.
Araghchi said that Iran has deliberately limited the range of its ballistic missiles to 2000 kilometers. He said that there is no intention to make a missile that can reach America. This range mainly covers the Middle East and parts of Eastern Europe.
Araghchi reiterated that Iran did not start this war. The situation has arisen because of the actions of America and Israel, and Iran is only protecting itself. He said that only temporary ceasefire will not work. Iran wants the war to end completely, but for this Israel will first have to stop its attacks.
Right now tension is very high in West Asia. The ninth day of the war is going on. The whole world is watching to see what happens next – will Russia's help increase further or will some way of dialogue be found?
