Washington: The deal that was going on between Iran and America has again come to a standstill. There is a clash between the two countries on two major issues. First, the money of Iran which is deposited in foreign banks and has been frozen by America. Second, Iran's nuclear program. There is no consensus on these two things.
According to Iranian media reports, Tehran has said it bluntly. Unless America releases some of Iran's frozen money in the initial phase, there will be no final deal. Iran alleges that America is repeatedly changing its stand during talks. Now new obstacles are being imposed on the conditions on which it was agreed earlier.
Reports say that Iran has also sent a message to Pakistan and the countries of West Asia which are busy making deals behind the scenes. Iran made it clear that now it will not rely only on America. Before the deal, some of his money should be released immediately, only then the matter will move forward.
American media CNN and Axios have also admitted that no final talks have been made between Washington and Tehran yet. American officials say that “back and forth” talks are still going on on many important issues. Neither side is ready to bow down.
US President Donald Trump has also given a statement on this. Trump has told his officials not to rush into the deal. He says that the agreement will happen only when it is “right and strong”. That means America is also adamant on its conditions.
It is being said that if the deal happens then there will be many big things in it. Such as reopening the Strait of Hormuz, normalizing sea trade and eliminating the stock of high-enriched uranium held by Iran. But the problem lies here. There is no consensus on how uranium will be destroyed and for how many years Iran will be prohibited from carrying out nuclear activities.
