International News: The hanging of Nimisha Priya, who is lodged in Yemen jail, has been postponed. This decision has been taken because there has been no final settlement between Nimisha's family and the family of the victim Talal Abdo Mahdi regarding blood money. The information about the postponement of the hanging has been given by the jail authority.

According to sources, Grand Mufti Abubakar Ahmed is talking to the family of the victim Abdo Mahdi in the Nimisha case. The first day's talks were positive, due to which there is scope for further talks. In view of this, it has been decided to postpone the hanging. Yemen's justice department had earlier asked the prison authority to execute Nimisha Priya on July 16. Nimisha is accused of murdering her business partner, Abdo Mahdi.
