On a live CNN Abu Dhabi show, Managing Editor Becky Anderson questioned Khwaja Asif regarding his assertions of shooting down five Indian fighter jets. Asif's efforts to cite social media as proof were quickly dismissed by Anderson, who insisted on proper evidence. The exchange left Asif appearing flustered and embarrassed. "I apologize, but we are not requesting social media content discussion here. I am requesting evidence proper," Anderson asserted. Asif's failure to produce hard evidence revealed the emptiness of Pakistan's claims.

Information Minister Tarar's Deceptions Unveiled

In the same vein, Pakistan's Information Minister Tarar was questioned sternly by Sky News's Yalda Hakim. Tarar's assertion that Pakistan does not have any terrorist camps and has always fought militants was disputed by his own Defense Minister's words.

Hakim's forthright rebuttals revealed the layers of hypocrisy and deception involved in Pakistan's policy on terrorism. "Defense Minister Khwaja Asif himself last week in his own show said that Pakistan has supported, sponsored, and funded terrorist groups for decades," Hakim observed. Tarar's deflections and denials were not given credence by the anchor.

A Pattern of Dishonesty

The discussions on foreign TV channels reflect a trend of dishonesty and hypocrisy in Pakistan's relations with terrorism. From erstwhile President Pervez Musharraf to Defense Minister Khwaja Asif now, Pakistani leaders have been repeatedly caught lying about collaborating with terrorist groups. Even the former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and Bilawal Bhutto have agreed in words to this policy of terror. The international community is increasingly discovering the tricks of Pakistan, and the reputation of the country is suffering.

Global Reactions

The world at large has been keeping a close eye on the events between India and Pakistan. Though some nations have voiced concern regarding the increase in tensions, most have accepted India's right to defense.India's Operation Sindoor has put the question of Pakistan's terrorism into the forefront of international consciousness. As Pakistan ministers fight a losing battle defending their nation's actions, the world is increasingly waking up to seeing through their lies. The question is: how much longer will Pakistan carry on this double game?
