International News: British MP Bob Blackman has called Pakistan a failed country and has strongly criticized the interference of the army in its government. He raised the question of whether there is really democracy there or the rule of the generals prevails. He made this comment after meeting with an all-party delegation led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad in London. Blackman also appealed to the international community to support India in its fight against terrorism.

Pakistan's illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir must end

Blackman strongly criticized Pakistan's illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir and said that it is necessary to end it. He stressed that Jammu and Kashmir should be fully integrated with India according to the border set in 1947. He believes that only then will there be stability in the region and terrorism can be rooted out. He said, "We have to ensure that Pakistan's illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir ends."

Allegations of misuse of international aid and buying weapons from China

Blackman made serious allegations against Pakistan and said that it can misuse international aid. He questioned whether Pakistan is using the funds meant for development to increase terrorism against India and buy weapons from China. This issue is a matter of concern for global security, and the international community should seriously consider it.

Pakistan will become the chairman of the Taliban Sanctions Committee

According to reports, Pakistan will chair the Taliban Sanctions Committee of the United Nations Security Council for 2025. This committee works to impose economic sanctions, travel bans, and arms embargoes on individuals and groups associated with the Taliban in Afghanistan. Along with Pakistan, Russia and Guyana will be the vice-chairs of this committee. Apart from this, Russia and Sierra Leone will hold the vice-chairman posts of other anti-terrorism committees.

Importance of the United Nations Security Council and the role of Pakistan

The United Nations Security Council is the most powerful body in the world that takes decisions to impose sanctions and use force to maintain international peace and security. Its five permanent members—Britain, China, France, Russia and the US—have the right to veto. The world's eyes are fixed on this role of Pakistan's Security Council, especially when there have been constant allegations of interference in the country's political affairs by its army.

Increasing criticism of Pakistan at the international level and India's strong stand

Blackman's statements are an indication that Pakistan's image is deteriorating rapidly at the international level. At the same time, India's diplomacy and firm stand against terrorism are being respected in the world community. India has appealed for cooperation to deal with terrorism on many forums and has taken strong steps to protect its sovereignty.

Message for the international community

It is clear that the issue of Jammu and Kashmir is not only a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan, but it is linked to global security and stability. Therefore, it is necessary to resolve it in a peaceful and legal manner on international forums like the United Nations. Pakistan will have to improve its internal politics and avoid policies that promote terrorism; otherwise, its international image may weaken further.
