International News: A heartbreaking and chilling incident from Australia has left the entire nation stunned. Tamika Suen-Rose Cherz (34), a former runner-up of the popular reality TV show Beauty and the Geek, has been accused of brutally murdering her boyfriend, Julian Story (39), and dismembering his body. The most disturbing detail revealed by police is that Julian's head has not yet been recovered, intensifying the horror surrounding the case.
The incident came to light on June 19, 2025, when emergency services responded to a smoke alert from an apartment in Port Lincoln, South Australia. Upon arrival, police discovered human body parts scattered throughout the residence. However, Julian’s head was missing, and investigators say it still has not been found.
Detective Superintendent Darren Pheelke stated, “Julian Story’s body was discovered in a severely mutilated condition. His head remains missing. Recovering it is crucial, not only for the investigation but also to help his family find closure and perform a proper burial.”
Eyewitnesses described a disturbing sequence of events. A neighbor, upon noticing smoke, approached Tamika to inquire about the situation. Tamika allegedly downplayed the incident, claiming everything was normal. She then took her three dogs for a walk and locked the apartment door behind her.
When police and fire officials finally forced entry, they were met with a gruesome and horrifying scene that has left even emergency personnel deeply shaken.
Tamika was found unconscious near the property shortly after the incident and was taken into custody. Authorities have since placed her under mental health supervision. Her next court appearance is scheduled for December 2025.
In a public statement, Julian Story’s family expressed their sorrow and shock:
“We are going through a tragedy we could never have imagined. We are grateful to the police and emergency services, and the support from friends and the community has been a source of strength.”
Tamika Cherz rose to fame in 2010 as the runner-up on Australia’s reality TV show Beauty and the Geek. She later pursued a career in modeling, appearing in international men’s magazines such as Playboy, FHM, and Ralph. Once known for her glamorous image, she is now at the center of one of the most shocking murder investigations in recent Australian history.
Authorities believe the murder occurred around midnight on June 17. As of now, both the murder weapon and Julian’s head remain missing. Police have urged anyone with information — no matter how minor — to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
This horrifying incident has sparked nationwide discussions about mental health, domestic violence, and the dark undercurrents behind seemingly glamorous lives. As the investigation unfolds, Australians are left grappling with a tragedy that reads more like a nightmare than reality.
