International News: In a major legal development, a US federal appeals court has declared unconstitutional US President Donald Trump's order to end birthright citizenship. The court has blocked the order from being implemented nationwide, bringing the issue very close to reaching the Supreme Court.

Trump's plan put on hold

This decision came at a time when a federal judge in New Hampshire also blocked Trump's plan, calling it against constitutional values. The order brought by the Trump administration was aimed at preventing US citizenship for children born to parents living in the US illegally or temporarily.

Trump Order Faces 14th Amendment Heat

The 9th Circuit Court clarified that the order violates the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution, which grants citizenship by birth. The court said that the interpretation of this order also affects those who are born in the US but whose parentage is questionable.

Court Ruling Rekindles Citizenship Debate

The court commented, 'The district court correctly found that the order is unconstitutional because it deprives many individuals born in the United States of their civil rights. We fully agree with this decision.'
This decision has again sparked debate on the rules related to citizenship in America and the Supreme Court's attention is now focused on this sensitive issue.
