Washington: New intelligence information has emerged amid the increasing conflict between Iran and America-Israel. US intelligence agencies have intercepted encrypted messages that are suspected to have been sent to activate potential 'sleeper agents' present abroad. These messages have come to light after the death of Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei on February 28, when the US and Israel took joint military action.

Have US agencies intercepted secret messages related to Iran?

According to US officials, some encrypted radio signals have recently been intercepted. In the initial investigation, the source of these messages is believed to be related to Iran. Experts say that these messages were recirculated through many countries, which is an unusual pattern and due to which the security agencies have become alert.

Could these messages be intended to activate sleeper agents?

The intelligence alert said such encrypted messages are often sent with instructions to reach those who have the keys to decrypt them. Such messages can be sent even without internet or mobile network. Officials fear that their objective may be to direct or activate agents already present abroad.

Is there a possibility of danger at any particular place at present?

US officials have clarified that this alert does not mean that any particular city or country is in immediate danger. However, security agencies and law enforcement agencies have been advised to keep a close watch on radio frequency activities.

Is the Iran-Israel conflict increasing?

Meanwhile, military confrontation continues in the area. Israel on Monday attacked Hezbollah-linked targets in central Iran and Beirut. Earlier, oil storage sites in Tehran were targeted. In response, Iran launched missile and drone attacks, targeting Israel and countries where US military bases are located.

Are common citizens also being affected in this conflict?

According to reports, this violence is also affecting the common people. Two foreign nationals, including an Indian, died after being hit by a projectile that fell on a residential area in Saudi Arabia. Iran's ambassador to the United Nations has claimed that so far more than 1,300 civilians have been killed in this conflict and thousands have been injured. America has also confirmed the death of one more of its soldiers.

What did Trump say on this matter?

US President Donald Trump said that America is keeping an eye on whether Iran has activated its sleeper cells abroad. He claimed that the military operation against Iran is progressing faster than scheduled. According to Trump, after the American attacks, Iran's ability to launch drones has declined by about 83 percent.

Trump also said that America can take further action if necessary. Regarding the attack on an Iranian girls school, he said that the incident is being investigated.
