New Delhi: While Hollywood and Bollywood stars graced the red carpet of the world's biggest fashion event, the Met Gala 2026, Isha Ambani, daughter of India's renowned businessman Mukesh Ambani, stole the spotlight. As Isha made her grand entrance onto the red carpet, everyone present was left stunned.

The 2026 Met Gala was held on May 4 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the event was attended by numerous other celebrities. Isha Ambani also attended the pre-Met Gala event and captured everyone's attention with her regal style.

Isha Ambani arrived at the Met Gala 2026 in a truly royal style. Dressed in a golden saree, she looked like a royal. Her saree was specially designed, featuring traditional Indian embroidery and gold threadwork.

The Ambani family is always at the forefront when it comes to showcasing Indian culture on the global stage. Isha Ambani's saree, designed by Gaurav Gupta, reflected the rich Indian spirit. 

Isha Ambani flaunted Indian traditions on the global stage. But the things that caught everyone's attention in her entire look were the mango in her hand, jewellery, blouse and the gajra in her hair, which was as long as the pallu of her saree.

What created the buzz?

The evening's biggest viral moment occurred when Julia Hackman Chafé, a renowned foreign jewellery influencer, approached Isha and closely observed the embroidery on her blouse and her jewellery worth crores. The influencer woman was astonished by Isha's jeweler blouse. 

While getting ready, when jewellery influencer Julia asked Isha Ambani about the jewellery and necklace adorning her blouse, Isha's response was heartwarming. 

Smiling, she pointed to her jewellery and lovingly repeated, "Mom, Mom, Mom..." In fact, every piece used in her blouse and jewellery was taken from her mother Nita Ambani's personal collection.

What is so special about the outfit?

Isha Ambani's saree was as special as its blouse, which was studded with diamonds and emeralds. The blouse was modern and stylish, with jewel detailing. The diamonds and emeralds on Isha's blouse were taken from her mother Nita Ambani's personal collection, making her look rich and elegant. It also featured an old sarpech that was once part of the Nizam's collection.

Gaurav Gupta also shared details of Isha Ambani's entire look. A sculptural cape wrapped in resin was used to complete the look. Over 50 craftspeople spent over 1,200 hours creating Isha's look.

About 1,200 hours of hard work?

Isha Ambani's saree was very special and magnificent, making her entire look royal. This saree was woven with real gold threads, whose shine was visible from a distance. About 50 craftspeople worked together to prepare Isha's saree, paying meticulous attention to every small and big detail. 

It took more than 1200 hours to make this beautiful saree, which clearly shows its hard work and excellent craftsmanship. This is why Isha's look presents an unmatched example of Indian craftsmanship on a foreign platform.

Showstopper Isha's look, adorned with a diamond and emerald-studded blouse, was as royal as it was special. She paired a beautiful gold saree by designer Gaurav Gupta with a unique blouse that stole the spotlight. The blouse was so intricately adorned with diamonds and emeralds that it caught everyone's attention. Over 200 diamonds were intricately hand-studded, enhancing its grandeur.

All the jewellery used in the blouse was sourced from her mother Neeta's personal collection. The back also featured an antique and distinctive sarpech that was once part of the Nizam's collection. These jewelry pieces made this look not only stylish but also unique.

What about the necklace?

The necklace Isha wore was nothing short of stunning. Crafted from approximately 150 carats of pristine uncut diamonds, the necklace was breathtakingly beautiful. The necklace also included a large 50-carat emerald, adding to her royal charm. 

This beautiful combination of diamond, emerald, pearl and gold was so amazing that even foreign jewellery influencer Julia Hackman Chafé was stunned to see it.  

Was it real mango purse?

To make her look even more special and unique, Isha Ambani tried a unique experiment that caught everyone's attention. She carried a mango sculpture in her hand, which looked exactly like a real mango, but was actually a piece of art made of steel. This unique mango was designed by renowned artist Subodh Gupta. By adding such a modern and artistic element to her traditional look, Isha made her style even more special and memorable.

Isha Ambani revealed that it wasn't a real mango but a sculpture. “It's like 20 years old. It's not recent,” she said.
