Mumbai: Newlywed couple Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda tied the knot in Udaipur on February 26 in the presence of the close friends and family and then hosted a wedding reception on March 4 in Hyderabad. In between all these things Rashmika on Monday shared pictures from her beautiful haldi ceremony, that people can't stop adoring and appreciating.
The couple on February 27 made their first public appearance as Mr and Mrs at Udaipur airport, and the post-wedding glow and smile was nothing but heartwarming.
After 'The Wedding of Virosh', the couple shared their dreamy pictures from their different ceremonies as bride and groom.
While sharing a series of pictures from the Haldi in Holi style ceremony, Rashmika said that, "It was more like Haldi + Holi. We were drenched and dipped in colour so much so that even now my hair still carries a bit of red in it."
The actress also shared that the ceremony was not just limited to Haldi and rituals but had lots of games that kept the people engaged and happy.
In the post, Rashmika also wrote, "And PS: I won all the games that day with the incredible help of my Team Bride! Just FYI.. even Vijju was Team Bride that day!"
Most people chose yellow for Haldi, but Rashmika and Vijay decided to change the trend with Anamika Khanna.
Instead of the traditional yellow palette for Haldi, the couple went for soft, pastels colours that felt incredibly modern and beautiful.
Rashmika looked breath-taking in a pista green, off-shoulder outfit. The green ensemble featured green floral motifs and accessorized with heavy gold jewellery from maang tika, jhumkas, and bangles, which showed that she connected to her traditional roots.
Vijay also complemented Rashmika's look perfectly in a pastel pink kurta that was detailed with delicate floral embroidery.
The embroidery in the blush-pink pastel kurta set included delicate vines, flowers and leaves. He accessorised with a thick gold chain and sunglasses, looking suave and classy.
The Haldi looks which were designed by Anamika Khanna were effortlessly beautfuul and mesmerizing. And Rashmika specially thanked her in the caption, "The one we trusted our vision with. Thank you for making it come into reality."
The pink-and-green combo for the haldi ceremony against the Udaipur backdrop was a masterstroke and looked mesmerizing.
While sharing pictures from the day full of "water, colour, music and action", Vijay said that "Haldi day, The morning after a sangeeth celebration that ran late into early hours of morning. On another day waking up would have been impossible, but we were all up excited to see each other, excited to spend time with my family and friends. And we had lots of water, colour, music and action to keep us all hyper awake."
