Bihar Election 2025: 3.7 Crore Voters, 122 Seats, and 1302 Candidates- Final Phase of Voting Today

Bihar: The final phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 will be held on Tuesday. In this round, 3 crore 70 lakh voters of the state will vote on 122 seats. For this, 45,399 polling stations have been set up, out of which 40,073 booths are in rural areas.

How many candidates are in the fray?

A total of 1302 candidates are trying their luck in this phase. These include many veteran leaders as well as new faces. After voting it will be decided in whose hands the keys to power will go.

How is the security system?

More than four lakh security personnel have been deployed across the state. CRPF and BMP personnel have been put on special duty at sensitive and vulnerable booths. Border security has also been tightened in the districts bordering Nepal. After the recent blast in Delhi, Bihar Police has adopted alert mode.

In which districts will voting take place?

Voting in this phase will take place mainly in Seemanchal and seven districts of North Bihar—West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, and Kishanganj. These districts are considered politically and religiously sensitive areas.
