National News: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday described the upcoming Bihar election as an opportunity to write a “new chapter of prosperity.” Addressing BJP workers, he stressed that Bihar had gained momentum under the NDA’s stable governance. He projected the election as more than a political contest, but as a defining moment in the state’s development journey.
Modi emphasized that this vote would decide whether Bihar continued on its path of growth or returned to instability. His words set the stage for a campaign framed around hope, development, and responsibility.
At the “Mera Booth Sabse Majboot” programme, Modi said stability brings development. He claimed every young voice in Bihar now says, “Bihar has gained speed, once again NDA government.” He highlighted better roads, electricity, and welfare schemes as NDA’s achievements. According to him, the alliance represents continuity and progress that voters can trust.
Modi portrayed NDA as a guarantor of prosperity, contrasting it with opposition forces he claimed were driven only by power politics. The pitch was designed to resonate with common families seeking security and opportunities.
Modi attacked the opposition alliance, calling them “Gathbandhan” in name but “Lathbandhan” in practice. He said the people remember how those groups spread violence and misrule. Referring to the past, he reminded voters of the “jungle raj” era when fear ruled the streets. Modi urged the electorate not to allow Bihar to fall back into those days.
His aggressive tone framed the opposition as a direct threat to progress, drawing a sharp contrast with the NDA’s development message. The attack was aimed at energizing BJP workers and warning voters.
Linking politics with culture, Modi drew attention to the Chhath festival. He said Bihar is preparing for a sacred celebration of faith, and at the same time, it is celebrating the festival of democracy. By connecting religious sentiment with the election, he sought to create pride and a sense of duty among voters.
Modi portrayed voting as a sacred responsibility that strengthens both democracy and cultural tradition. This emotional connection gave his message depth beyond party politics, appealing to families who value both faith and future stability.
Turning to the younger generation, Modi said Bihar’s youth must learn from elders and make informed decisions. He insisted that every young boy and girl in the state seeks opportunities, education, and growth. Modi highlighted skill programs, jobs, and entrepreneurship support as government efforts to meet those demands.
He placed the youth at the heart of Bihar’s development journey, calling them the “force of progress.” His appeal was crafted to transform enthusiasm among the younger population into electoral energy for the NDA.
One of Modi’s strongest points was women’s empowerment. He revealed that over 12 million women in Bihar had already received ten thousand rupees each to start businesses. He instructed party workers to ensure every woman benefits from government schemes.
Modi promised that after November 14, a new era of women-led growth would begin in Bihar. By centering his campaign on women, he tried to transform social respect into political support. The empowerment message added both emotional and practical weight to his campaign strategy.
In his closing appeal, Modi said the election is not just about winning power but about ensuring Bihar never returns to chaos. He urged BJP workers to reach villages, motivate youth, and guide women. Modi projected the NDA as the only stable alternative capable of driving Bihar’s prosperity. His speech combined promises, cultural symbolism, and warnings against instability. With this mix, he set the tone for a campaign built around prosperity, women’s empowerment, and the rejection of misrule. For him, this was Bihar’s defining election.
