Major Security Operation Launched Against Maoists in Abujhmad, Chhattisgarh

National News: Abujhmad of Chhattisgarh has once again been shaken by the echo of bullets. Security forces have launched the biggest attack so far in the direction of eliminating the Maoist network hidden for years, amidst the dense forests. More than 30 Maoists are reported to have been killed in this encounter going on since early Wednesday in Narayanpur district. This operation was planned after several weeks of intelligence surveillance and technical analysis. DRG (District Reserve Guard) personnel of Narayanpur, Bijapur, Dantewada and Kondagaon were engaged in a joint operation, which was given the codename 'Abujh Nishana' by the local authorities. This operation was carried out to destroy the hideouts of the Maoists' Maad Division.
