Dr Jyoti Garg Gives Message on Environmental Protection on Republic Day, Appeals to Avoid Polythene

New Delhi: On the occasion of Republic Day, at a program organized by Sanskar Seva Samiti, Kotla Mubarakpur, Dr Jyoti Garg, Head of the Department of Neurology at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, made people aware of their fundamental duties towards the nation.

After the flag hoisting ceremony, she addressed the gathering and described the increasing use of polythene and plastic as a serious threat. She said that it not only harms the environment but also adversely affects the health of both animals and humans.

Local dignitary Gopal Pandit hoisted the national flag, while Mr TR Gautam conducted the stage proceedings. Teacher Babita also shared information about the harmful effects of plastic. Local residents and social workers participated enthusiastically in the event.

What Dr Garg appealed?

Dr Garg appealed to people to reduce the use of polythene, avoid throwing garbage on roads, and adopt the use of cloth or jute bags to help build a clean and healthy society.
