National News: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann held a massive public rally in Dediapada, Gujarat, on Thursday to protest the arrest of AAP MLA Chaitar Vasava. The leaders launched a sharp attack on the BJP, accusing it of decades-long corruption and exploitation, especially of the tribal communities. Addressing the crowd, Kejriwal declared, “The BJP’s time in Gujarat is over. This time, the public has decided to say bye-bye to the BJP.” He alleged that tribal MLA Chaitar Vasava was jailed in a false case after he exposed massive corruption under the BJP regime. Kejriwal announced that AAP will contest the upcoming Taluka-Panchayat elections by fielding common citizens, urging the youth to step forward and take responsibility for their regions.
Kejriwal strongly condemned the alleged suppression of tribal rights, claiming that the BJP has ruled for 30 years without addressing the real issues of tribal people. “Chaitar Vasava, an educated young leader, was elected by the tribal community with massive support. Since then, he has consistently raised their voice—something BJP couldn’t digest,” Kejriwal said.
Highlighting alleged corruption, Kejriwal said, “Before becoming MLAs, BJP leaders ride bicycles. Within five years, they own palatial homes and luxury cars. This is money meant for schools, hospitals, and roads.” He accused BJP leaders of diverting government funds into their own pockets.
Kejriwal claimed that Chaitar Vasava exposed a ₹2,500 crore scam in MNREGA and sent two sons of a BJP minister to jail. “That’s why the BJP framed him in a false case and sent him to jail. But Chaitar is a lion—you can’t silence him,” he added.
Reiterating that AAP won’t bow to pressure, Kejriwal said, “They jailed me, Manish Sisodia, Satyendra Jain, and Sanjay Singh, but AAP only became stronger. Now they’ll arrest more of our leaders, but we won’t be afraid. Every arrest brings more supporters to our party.”
Kejriwal condemned the BJP for not paying annual bonuses to cattle farmers and violently suppressing their protests. “They even looted their bonus. When farmers demanded their rights at Sabar Dairy, the BJP responded with lathis and tear gas. One farmer, Ashok Chaudhary, tragically died.”
Calling on youth to join politics, Kejriwal announced that AAP will give tickets to grassroots individuals in upcoming Panchayat and local body elections. “No one will come from outside to help. It’s time for the youth to take charge of their villages and defeat BJP and Congress.”
Kejriwal accused both the BJP and Congress of jointly looting Gujarat. “Congress does not want to defeat the BJP; they’re working together. But now AAP has emerged as the real opposition and the voice of the people.” He urged unity across all movements in Gujarat: “Whether it’s tribal struggles or farmers' protests in North Gujarat, we must unite them into one—The Battle of Gujarat.”
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann supported Kejriwal, stating, “Being tribal means having a right to land, water, and forests—but BJP is selling them all.” He praised Vasava's commitment to farmers, highlighting his earlier arrest for blocking a tractor in protest. Mann claimed that BJP is trying to silence voices of truth with false cases. “They erased CCTV footage, fabricated evidence, and jailed our leaders. But we won’t stop.”
He further said, “When the people awaken, they settle 30 years’ accounts in 30 minutes. That moment has come for Gujarat. AAP is offering a third alternative—with the broom as its symbol—to sweep away this corrupt regime.”
Sharing achievements of the AAP government in Punjab, Mann said, “We gave 55,000 jobs without bribes or recommendations. In Gujarat, exam papers leak every year, destroying tribal children’s dreams.” He emphasized that AAP talks about real issues—education, health, electricity, water, and jobs—not hate or division.
