IMD Issues Heavy Rain Alert for Delhi-NCR, UP, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan as Monsoon Intensifies

New Delhi: The southwest monsoon has now spread across Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and the rest of North India, although the national capital is still awaiting widespread heavy showers. Rain alerts have been issued for Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh on different dates.

There is a warning of strong wind, thunder, lightning and wind speeds up to 60 km per hour in Jammu and Kashmir till July 12. The weather may become cool due to rain in Dehradun also.
