Islamabad: A meeting was being held in the United Nations Security Council regarding Afghanistan. The talk was about world peace. Then Indian Ambassador P. Harish stood up and directly attacked Pakistan. Without mincing words, he said that Pakistan is the base for spreading terror and hatred in the region.
India clearly said that this is Pakistan's daily work. Every day such things come out from there which increase conflict among neighbouring countries. There is no electricity, no food in our country, inflation is at its peak. So to divert attention, they start false propaganda against India. Because of this habit, India called it a 'factory of hatred'.
India raised the issue of Pakistan's military action in Afghanistan. He said that when bombs fall there, schools are closed, houses are destroyed, and children become orphans. You call this 'war against terror'? India said that whatever the attack, first see how many civilians were killed in it. If innocent people are dying then it is not military action, it is genocide. Every attack must be weighed by the law of humanity.
Pakistan told UN that the word 'Fitna-e-Hindustan' was used against India. India immediately retaliated. Said that this is a lie spread with complete planning. The only aim is to fool the world and our own people. The truth is something else, but the story is being told something else.
India presented its own figures to the UN. Said that in the last few months, thousands of civilians have been injured by air strikes in Afghanistan, many have been killed. India demanded that there should be an impartial investigation into these deaths. And most importantly, the lives of common people should be saved.
India raised another point. Said that Pakistan is deliberately closing trade routes with Afghanistan. This is causing damage to the entire area. How will business grow if roads remain closed? India said that these steps are also against international rules.
Along with making allegations, India also counted its work. Said that we do not just speak, we also do. In the last few years, India has sent millions of tonnes of wheat, essential medicines, corona vaccine and food items to Afghanistan. And this help will continue in the future as well.
India's tone was very strict throughout the meeting. Not an allegation, but put forward the point with evidence. Pakistan was directly accused of spreading terror, telling lies and disturbing the peace of the region. It also reminded that real help is provided by the one who gives food to the hungry, not the one who drops bombs.
