'We Will Not Bow Down,' Iran President Pezeshkian Sends Strong Message to US and Israel

New Delhi: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Friday gave a strong message to America and Israel, saying that his country will not bow down to any kind of bullying and arrogance. He said that Iran will stand firmly to protect its national interests and will not shy away from responding if pressure is increased.

Addressing a gathering of religious leaders, intellectuals, academics and businessmen, Pejeshkian spoke about Iran's approach to the Gulf region. He reiterated his commitment to peaceful co-existence and called for countering foreign forces trying to create division in the society.

What warning did Pejeshkian give to America and Israel?

Pejeshkian said Iran will not surrender to injustice. Referring to America and Israel, he said that Iran will not come under any pressure. If pressure is put on them, they are ready to respond.

The Iranian president also referred to the US attack near a primary school in southern Iran, calling US and Israeli forces 'real terrorists'. According to him, 168 children were killed in this incident.

What did Pejeshkian say on hospitals and infrastructure?

The Iranian president said that the US and Israel should confront Iranian troops instead of targeting hospitals, infrastructure and livelihoods of civilians.

He said that the opposing forces think that the people of Iran can be forced to bow down by creating shortage of essential things, but the Iranian people are not going to accept defeat.

Pezeshkian also stressed peaceful coexistence in his address. He said that the countries of the world should live together with each other and promote mutual cooperation.

He said that the path on which America and Israel are moving can lead them towards destruction. In this context, the Iranian president also stressed the need for peaceful relations with China, India and other countries.

Pezeshkian said God created Iranians, Chinese, Indians and other peoples of the world and all should live in harmony with each other. The mention of India and China in his statement is being considered especially important.
