Lalu Yadav Attends Son Tej Pratap Yadav's Makar Sankranti Celebrations in Patna

Bihar Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) founder Lalu Yadav attended Makar Sankranti feast hosted by Shakti Janata Dal chief and his elder son Tej Pratap.

Patna: Eight months after he expelled his son, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) founder and veteran politician Lalu Prasad Yadav met his son Tej Pratap Yadav at his residence on the Makar Sankranti. He visited Tej Pratap Yadav's residence and participated in the Dhai Chura feast on Wednesday i.e., January 14.

Bihar Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, Lalu Yadav attended Makar Sankranti feast hosted by Shakti Janata Dal chief and Lalu's elder son Tej Pratap Yadav. Tej Pratap was seen seated beside his father Lalu during event.

This is turning head as Tej Pratap invited his father Lalu Prasad Yadav and younger brother Tejashwi Yadav in the Bihar Assembly, for the Makar Sankranti celebration. 

What Tej Pratap wrote on social media?

Taking to X, Tej Pratap wrote, ''Today, I reached the residence at 10 Circular Road and met my father, the honorable Shri Lalu Prasad Yadav Ji, and my mother, the honorable Smt. Rabri Devi Ji, to seek their blessings. I also met my younger brother and the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, Tejashwi, and invited him by handing over an invitation letter for the "Historic Dahi-Chuda Feast" program to be held tomorrow, January 14, on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. At the same time, today I also had the wonderful moment of playing with my dear niece Katyayani in my lap.''

Meanwhile, talking to media persons on Wednesday, Tej Pratap shared details about the event and said that he is sure everyone from his family will come. "If Teju Bhaiya's feast won't be a super duper hit, then whose will be... A grand feast of dahi-chuda was organised... Our parents are God to us, so I will continue to receive their blessings... Everyone will come...," he said.
