The name of a 2-year-old innocent girl has also been included as an accused in the FIR registered after the incident of stone pelting and vandalism over a fight over setting up a firecracker shop. Based on the viral video, the police registered a case against many people, but now the girl's family has demanded that her name be removed from the list.

Beginning of dispute: Clash between two groups over firecracker shop

Late on Wednesday night, a dispute broke out between two groups in the Mohane area of ​​Kalyan over setting up a firecracker shop on the occasion of Diwali. The initial argument soon turned into a scuffle, stone pelting and vandalism. At least five people were injured in the violent clash, while several shops and properties were damaged. The video of the incident quickly went viral on social media, after which the local police registered an FIR based on the information of the complainant.

Innocent's name in FIR: Police's side and family's pain

There has been a stir due to the inclusion of the name of a 2 year old girl in the list of accused. The girl's family alleges that she is completely innocent and was at home at the time of the incident. The family has appealed to the police to immediately remove the girl's name; otherwise, it will cause mental trauma to them.

At the same time, the police say that the FIR has been registered on the information given by the complainant. The senior officer said, "A thorough investigation of the case is underway. If the girl's innocence is proven, no action will be taken against her." At present, the search for all the named accused is going on.
