Mathura: On Friday night, Mathura police busted a sex trafficking racket. Led by Kotwali police and CO City Ashna Chaudhary, the team raided two spa centers in the Dampier Nagar market. During the operation, five young women and six young men were caught in inappropriate situations, and obscene materials were seized from the premises.

Are There Illegal Activities at Spa Centers?

According to police, these spa centers were being used as a front to run a sex racket illegally. The gang would bring in women from outside the city to provide services to clients. During questioning, it was revealed that some of the leaders of this racket are active in other parts of the city as well. Police are now searching for them.

What Were the Previous Raids in the City?

This is not the first time Mathura police have taken action against such networks. Two months ago, police had raided two spa centers in the Krishna Nagar area and caught several young men and women in compromising situations. A guest house in the city was also raided at that time, leading to the arrest of a large number of people. Despite these actions, such illegal activities continue in the city.

How Does the Incident Affect Mathura’s Religious Reputation?

Mathura, known for its religious and cultural significance, is seeing its sacred image affected by such activities. Police have stated that the campaign against illegal spa centers will continue and that the main leaders of these rackets will be arrested soon. The rise of such incidents in a holy city has angered local residents, who demand strict action from authorities to protect the city’s religious dignity.
