Crime News: Chilling incident has surfaced in Meerut’s Akbarpur Sadat village, where a woman, along with her lover, murdered her husband. To cover up the murder, they staged a scene to make it appear as if the husband died due to a snake bite. According to the police, the body of Amit Kashyap was found on his bed on Sunday, with a snake near him. Bite marks were visible on his body in several places, leading the neighbors and police to initially believe that he had been bitten by a snake and died as a result. The family, however, suspected foul play, and upon their request, an autopsy was performed.
As soon as the post-mortem report came out, the police intensified their investigation. They became suspicious of Amit's wife, Ravita, and arrested her for questioning. During the investigation, Ravita and her lover Amardeep admitted to killing Amit together. They confessed to being in an illicit relationship and planning the murder to cover up their affair.
The police disclosed that Amardeep had purchased a snake for Rs 1,000 from a snake charmer in Mahmoodpur Sikheda village in Meerut. On the night of the murder, Ravita and Amardeep waited until Amit finished his dinner and fell asleep. After his death, they placed the snake near his body, allowing it to bite him several times. Their goal was to make everyone believe that Amit died from a snake bite. The neighbors and other villagers accepted the explanation, and even a snake charmer was called in, who also confirmed that Amit died from a snake bite. The snake was finally set free by the forest department in its natural habitat
Following the revelation, the police arrested both Ravita and Amardeep, presenting the case before the court. The investigation into the involvement of the forest department and the snake charmer also continues, as both play crucial roles in the unfolding drama of this tragic event.
