National News: Arvind Kejriwal had earlier warned that BJP could go to any extent to topple opposition governments. His prediction seems to be turning into reality with the introduction of a new controversial bill in Parliament by the Modi government. AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj accused the Centre of plotting against opposition leaders. He said the BJP would first file false cases against chief ministers, then blackmail them, and finally jail them to force resignations and collapse elected state governments.

Kejriwal’s Strategic Resignation Move

Bhardwaj recalled how Kejriwal sensed the BJP’s conspiracy during his jail term. He refused to bow down to pressure. After release, he resigned on his own terms, preventing BJP from using legal tricks to break the Aam Aadmi Party.

Opposition Leaders Under Threat

According to Bhardwaj, this new bill will be used against leaders like Mamata Banerjee and M.K. Stalin. He alleged the BJP has no hesitation in framing false cases to destabilize strong regional parties that challenge its dominance across states.

Priyanka Kakkar Raises Alarm

AAP’s national spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar said the law is dangerous because it allows removal without proof. She reminded that Kejriwal was jailed for six months without evidence and warned that BJP wants to legalize unconstitutional actions through Parliament.

BJP’s Power Politics Questioned

Priyanka added that BJP’s hunger for power has crossed all limits. Earlier they tried horse-trading, now they want to remove opposition governments through legal shortcuts. She predicted that the first targets of this bill would be TDP and JDU.

Democracy Under Severe Stress

Opposition claims this bill is nothing but an assault on democracy. They allege BJP is trying to silence critics, punish rivals, and protect its own corrupt allies. The move has sparked widespread concern about India’s democratic and constitutional future.
