Mumbai: Bollywood actor Kamaal Rashid Khan detained for firing 4 rounds at residential building in Mumbai's Oshiwara. Popularly known as KKR, the actor allegedly committed the crime in Oshiwara, Andheri on January 18.

In 2024, KRK was booked under SC/ST act by UP Police for making derogatory comments against Mayawati. An arrest Warrant was also filed Against Kamaal R Khan in 2023 in a case filed by Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee.

According to officials, writer-director Neeraj Kumar Mishra (45) lives on the second floor of the same building, while model Prateek Baid (29) lives on the fourth floor. Initially, it was unclear who fired the shots. However, the investigation has now revealed that KRK fired the shots. The actor has now been taken into custody from his studio.

However, KRK's intention was not to harm anyone. He was cleaning his gun. There is a large mangrove forest in front of his house, and after cleaning the gun, he fired it to test it. The actor thought the bullet would get lost in the mangrove forest, but there was a strong wind blowing at the time, which caused the bullet to travel further and hit a building in the Oshiwara area.

He is often seen criticizing various films and abusing Bollywood stars on social media. In the past, Kamaal R Khan has appeared in the film 'Deshdrohi'. He has also worked as a producer in the film industry.
