Nashik: Nida Khan, the main accused in the case involving allegations of sexual harassment and forced conversion in the BPO unit of TCS located in Nashik, has sought relief from the court on medical grounds. According to the family, she is pregnant and is at her home in Mumbai. Her lawyer has prepared to file an anticipatory bail petition in the Nashik sessions court. The police are calling her absconding, but the family is rejecting this allegation outright.
The family claims that Nida Khan had moved to Mumbai after marriage in January 2026 and was working as a telecaller in TCS BPO located in Malad. She has been at home since being suspended on April 9. Nida, who is living with her husband, is going to become a mother for the first time. The family members clarified that she was not absconding in any way and no police team had reached her house yet.
Nida's father said that her daughter never did anything wrong. She used to just go to work and say hello and bye to people, and just because of that, everything went wrong. The family says that Nida was not an HR manager but a telecaller. There were three senior officers above her. The viral photo has been taken from Instagram, in which the title of 'HR Head' was added by photoshopping. Complaints have also been made about the mother's ill health and mental pressure on the entire family.
Nida's lawyer Baba Sayyad confirmed that the anticipatory bail plea will be filed in the Nashik sessions court in a few days. According to some sources, the petition has already been presented in court. In this, pregnancy has been made the main basis. Both the family and the lawyer are citing medical reasons. There is no official response from the police on this petition yet, but the investigating agencies can conduct medical examination to confirm the claim of pregnancy.
Nida Khan's name appeared in a case in the FIR registered at Deolali police station in March 2026. A total of nine FIRs have been registered. There are allegations that some employees sexually harassed their female colleagues, forced them to have relations on the pretext of marriage and forced conversion from Hinduism to Islam. Women were forced to wear burqas and adopt Islamic customs. The whole matter came to light on the complaint of a 23-year-old employee.
Police and SIT claim that Nida Khan suppressed the complaints and supported the accused male employees. Investigation of her phone records, emails and chats found 78 suspicious contacts. The police are calling her the mastermind of the entire racket. So far seven-eight accused have been arrested. TCS Group has started an internal investigation under its zero tolerance policy and has announced to provide full cooperation to the police.
The situation will become clear only after the court's decision on Nida Khan's anticipatory bail plea. The family says that Nida is innocent and the whole matter is based on a misunderstanding. The police are still investigating her role in depth. Questions are being raised in the entire IT sector regarding the safety of women employees and compliance with POSH law at the workplace. The hearing of the case is going on and the court will give its verdict on the next date.
