National News: Union Home Minister Amit Shah told the Lok Sabha on Tuesday that the security forces have killed all three terrorists involved in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22 under Operation Mahadev. Describing this action as a major success of the security agencies, he said that the government has strong evidence of these terrorists being linked to Pakistan.

List of evidence of Operation Mahadev

Shah said that the three terrorists killed have been identified as Sulaiman, alias Faizal, Afghan, and Jibran. All three were 'A-category' terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba. They were killed in a joint operation of the Indian Army, CRPF, and Jammu and Kashmir Police in Operation Mahadev.

All three terrorists were killed

Shah said in Parliament that the three terrorists who killed our citizens in Baisaran Valley are no longer alive. He said that security agencies were instructed to ensure that these terrorists do not flee the country, and this action was taken under that.

Evidence of links with Pakistan

The Home Minister revealed in the Lok Sabha that Pakistani voter IDs were found on the two killed terrorists, and the chocolates recovered from them were also manufactured in Pakistan. Shah said that we have evidence that these terrorists came from Pakistan.

Detection procedure and identification

Shah said that the investigating agencies questioned 1,055 people to identify the terrorists. These included relatives of the victims, tourists, pony owners, photographers, and local residents. After the interrogation, composite sketches were prepared, based on which two persons named Bashir and Parvez were identified on June 22 who had given shelter to the terrorists. Those who had supplied food to the terrorists had already been detained. When the bodies of the terrorists were brought to Srinagar, the same people confirmed their identity.

FSL report confirms identity of Pahalgam terrorists

Shah said that the NIA had already arrested those who had given shelter to the terrorists. The FSL report of the cartridges used in the attack was already ready. When the guns of the killed terrorists were seized after the operation, they were matched with the FSL report. After the final test in Chandigarh, it was completely confirmed that these three were the same terrorists who had attacked in Pahalgam.

Shah said the action reflects India's "zero tolerance" policy against terrorism and sends a clear message that those who take up arms against the country will not be spared.
