National News:Under Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army has given another befitting reply to Pakistan. On Monday, DGMO (Director General of Military Operations) Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai held a press conference, in which many important information was shared amid the ongoing tension with Pakistan. During this, he spoke in detail about the strength of Indian defense against Pakistan Air Force and the success of Operation Sindoor.
Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai said that India's air defense system thwarted repeated attacks by Pakistan. He specifically mentioned the drone attacks and attacks on airfields by Pakistan on the night of 9-10 May.The DGMO stated that India possesses a distinct combination of air defense weapons, including counter-manned aerial systems, electronic warfare capabilities, and advanced air force systems. Pakistan could not get any success in front of this strong air defense grid.
In the press conference, Lieutenant General Ghai gave an interesting example of the 70s. He told that when he was in school, the Ashes series was going on between Australia and England. At that time, Australia's fast bowlers had devastated England's batting lineup. Through this example, he told that the Indian defense system is so strong that even if an enemy succeeds in crossing one layer, the defense ahead destroys it completely.
The Lieutenant General also made it clear that the Indian Army's fight was not against Pakistan, but against terrorism and terrorists. India had targeted only the terrorist hideouts during its action, but Pakistan made it its fight. He also said that the Pakistan Army tried to save the terrorists, due to which the loss it suffered is the responsibility of Pakistan itself.
The DGMO warned Pakistan by referring to an important line from Ramcharit Manas. He said, "Vinay na manat jaldhi jad, gaye teen din beeti, bole ram sakop tab bhay binu hoy na preeti." Through this line, he gave the message to Pakistan that India's calmness and restraint should not be considered its weakness. India will always defend itself, and no enemy can underestimate the strength of this country.
In this press conference, Lieutenant General Ghai gave full credit to our military forces for the success of the Indian Army's Operation Sindoor. He said that with this operation, India took decisive action against the terrorists, and showed Pakistan that India can go to any extent for its security. Apart from this, he also mentioned Virat Kohli, who recently retired from Test cricket, who is one of his favorite players.
The Indian Army's action under Operation Sindoor and the DGMO's statement made it clear that India will not compromise on its security. The message given to Pakistan was that if it does not stop its activities, India is ready to respond strongly. There can be no doubt about India's military strength and strategy now.
This entire incident is a symbol of the Indian Army's strength, strategy and firm will to give priority to the security of the nation.
