New Delhi: On the occasion of Army Day, the Indian Army released a new video on Thursday related to Operation Sindoor, which was conducted against Pakistan in May last year. The video showcases the precise strikes carried out on terrorist hideouts, airbases, and radar systems in Pakistan.
The nearly three-minute video begins by recounting major terrorist attacks in India, including the 2001 Parliament attack, the 2002 Akshardham attack, the 2008 Mumbai attack, the 2016 Uri attack, the 2019 Pulwama attack, and the 2025 Pahalgam terrorist attack.
The Indian Army has described all these incidents as "attacks on humanity." The video, released with Hindi captions, shows that on the night of May 7, 2025, the Indian Armed Forces launched simultaneous and precise strikes against nine terrorist bases across the border. These strikes were carried out under Operation Sindoor.
The video, without naming Pakistan, also shows heavy Pakistani shelling in the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir. In response, the Indian Army shot down Pakistani drones. Additionally, it targeted military bases near the border and subsequently destroyed Pakistani air defense radars and airbases.
"During Operation Sindoor, the Indian Armed Forces created history with their indomitable courage, valor, and unwavering resolve. Watch this inspiring saga of bravery through this short film screened at the Army Day Parade in Jaipur. Fierce, unwavering, and unbearable... The Army releases a new video of Operation Sindoor; shows the destruction of a Pakistani airbase," the Indian Army wrote after posting the video on social media.
Through this video, the Indian Army has attempted to send a strong message to Pakistan. At the end of the video, it clearly states, "A warning to our enemies. Cowardice will pay the price."
This video is not only a demonstration of military capability, but also sends a clear message that India will no longer remain silent against terrorism.
In April last year, terrorists killed 26 tourists in the Pahalgam Valley of Kashmir after asking them about their religion. Following this, Indian armed forces launched Operation Sindoor. At the time, the government stated that the Pahalgam attack was a "clear attempt to incite communal violence." On May 7, 2025, India launched Operation Sindoor, destroying nine terrorist bases in Pakistan, killing over a hundred terrorists. Pakistan retaliated by deploying drones and shelling civilian homes near the international border in Jammu and Kashmir. In response, India launched attacks and destroyed several radar installations and key airbases in Pakistan.
