Till now the political hold of AIMIM was considered limited to Seemanchal, but Owaisi has indicated from Dhaka -"Now our flag will be waved across Bihar."Champaran, where the RJD and JDU dominated till now, now Owaisi has given a new political stream-which revolves around religious identity, social justice and nationalism.

Owaisi called the Center's Waqf Property Amendment Act "attack on religious freedom" and said  "You can snatch land, not right. AIMIM will fight on every stage - Parliament or road: "This time 24 seats are ours!" Owaisi's tone became more sharp in the last moments of the meeting. "Those who used to call AIMIM a party of Seemanchal, this time we will show by winning 24 seats!"
He said that the new politics of Bihar will now run with religion, mazloom and issues - and AIMIM will lead it.
