New Delhi: After Operation Sindoor, the alleged mastermind of the Pahalgam terror attack and Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) deputy chief Saifullah Kasuri has released a video threatening to attack India in a 26/11 style using the sea route, according to media reports.

What did the terror group say?

In a video, which is accessed by News18, Saifullah Kasuri, who is the alleged mastermind of the Pahalgam terror attack, which happened on April 22, 2025, has issued threats against India.

Kasuri in the clip claims that Pakistan had "dominated the air" in 2025 and will "dominate the sea" in 2026, and also emphasized that there will be no space left for the “enemy" across land, air, or sea, according to News18 reports.

In the video, Kasuri issued a warning reminiscent of the 2008 Mumbai attack and threatened to launch another 26/11 style attack in India through sea.

In the 26/11 terror attack, Pakistani militants entered Mumbai through sea routes on 26 November 26, 2008 and killed  166 people.

Kasuri added, “This is what we will do by Allah’s will.”

The Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander also said that Pakistan will soon establish control across all strategic domains.

What did the intelligence agencies say?

The intelligence agencies have reportedly sounded high alert on the India's west coast following LeT’s references to attack by sea.

What about Pahalgam attack?

Kasuri is accused as the master mind of the 2025 Pahalgam attack, that triggered strong retaliation from India. India launched Operation Sindoor in May 2025 that targeted terror camps linked to LeT and other groups in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In the video, Kasuri appears to be deeply distraught by the India's air strikes on Muridke and Bahawalpur, according to News18 reports.

The LeT commander also warned Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and threatened that pressure on Kashmir would be met with unrest elsewhere, including in Balochistan.

In the remark, he also said that while “they will not attack Madina", they would target Indian religious sites, raising concerns about possible attacks on temples.

In the video, he also talked about continued coordination with the Pakistan Army.
