PM Modi to Address Nation on January 25, BJP Workers Gear Up for 'Mann Ki Baat'

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's monthly radio program 'Mann Ki Baat' will be aired on January 25 this month. Jharkhand BJP has intensified preparations regarding this. An important meeting in this regard was organized at the state BJP office in Ranchi on Thursday, in which presidents of all the districts and coordinators associated with the program participated.

What decision was taken in the meeting?

In the meeting held in the presence of State General Secretary Dr. Pradeep Verma, it was decided that this time the program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ will be heard and watched collectively at every booth of the state. The party believes that with this more and more people will be able to hear the prime minister's message directly.

What did BJP leaders say?

Talking to the media after the meeting, Dr. Pradeep Verma said that 'Mann Ki Baat' is such a platform of the Prime Minister through which he directly communicates with the countrymen. He said that the party wants this program to reach every village and locality.

At the same time, Metropolitan BJP President Varun Sahu said that as per the instructions received in the meeting, arrangements will be made at every booth to listen and watch programs through TV or other mediums so that the common people can understand the thinking and message of the Prime Minister.

BJP leaders say that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is not just a speech but a medium to connect with people. It gives space to social issues, achievements of the country and inspiring stories of common people. For this reason the party wants it to be heard collectively.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program on 3 October 2014. Since then it has been broadcast on radio and other platforms on the last Sunday of every month.

What is the purpose of this program?

Through this program the Prime Minister talks about important issues related to the country, public participation, positive efforts and campaigns related to development. In this, topics like vocal for local, natural farming, cleanliness, women empowerment, sports, science, culture and self-reliant India are often raised.
