National News: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat from May 27, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of ambitious projects worth over Rs 77,400 crore. The visit aims to give new impetus to the economic and social development of the state.
Modi ji will inaugurate the modern locomotive manufacturing plant of Indian Railways in Dahod. This plant will produce electric engines with 9000 horsepower capacity, which will increase the freight capacity of Indian Railways. The Prime Minister will flag off the first engine manufactured from the plant and dedicate it to the nation.
After the locomotive plant in Dahod, Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone of various development projects worth over Rs 24,000 crore in the state. These projects are related to roads, energy, and infrastructure, which will accelerate the overall progress of Gujarat.
On the first day’s conclusion, PM Modi will arrive in Bhuj to inaugurate significant projects valued at Rs 53,400 crore. These initiatives are set to boost the state’s energy, urban development, and industrial sectors.
Prime Minister Modi will travel to Gandhinagar to take part in the 20th anniversary celebrations of Gujarat's Urban Development and to inaugurate the 'Urban Development Year 2025.' He will also address a public function, which will discuss the development plans of the state and the priorities of the government.
This visit will bring a new direction to the development of Gujarat and will prove to be helpful in bringing positive changes in the lives of the common people.
