National News: After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April 2025, tension between India and Pakistan is deepening. Meanwhile, Turkey has openly supported Pakistan and poured ghee in the fire. This Pakistan-turned act of Türkiye has spread public anger in India. But this time anger was not limited to the streets only - the business class of the country has taken the front.

Marble traders of Jaipur and Kishangarh in Rajasthan have given a befitting reply to Türkiye and announced a complete boycott of its products. Turkish marble worth crores of rupees used to be imported every year in these cities, but now traders have decided to break all kinds of business relations with Turkey keeping the national interest paramount.

Stirred in Türkiye, businessman is pleading with India

Turkish businessmen have been badly shaken by this strictness of Indian traders. According to the information, many big marble exporters from Türkiye are contacting Indian traders. They are appealing with folded hands through email, call and WhatsApp to continue business. But the attitude of the traders of India is absolutely clear - the country which will stand with the enemies of India, there will be no business.

Marble and Granite Association and many organizations of the industry have given a strong message to Turkey - if they did not change their policy, it will have to bear the financial punishment.

"National interest first, business later" - clear message of traders

Jagdish Somani, president of the Marble Association of Vishwakarma Industrial Area, Jaipur, said, "Turkey has shown its real face by supporting Pakistan. Now no businessman in our region will ask for a marble from Turkey. The national interest is the first to us, the business comes later."

Traders have warned that this boycott will not be limited to Rajasthan only. If Türkiye's attitude does not change, it will become a nationwide movement.

India-Turki trade may get a big shock

India and Turkey have a trade of billions of rupees every year, which mainly include marble, granite and construction materials. But now the business class of India is saying bluntly - which is not with India, not in the market of India.

This is the first time that businessmen of the same country have come on the backfoot in protest against the political decision of a foreign government. Turkish traders are now appealing to their own government that relations with India should not be spoiled, otherwise the loss will be immense.

Now the emotions of market changed

This development has made it clear that in India, now not only profits, but the economy of self -respect and national interest is taking shape. Countries like Turkey should understand that the new India will neither tolerate supporters of terror nor deal with the country's identity in the name of business.
