New Delhi: In an unfortunate incident, IAF’s Tejas fighter jet crashed at during Dubai Air Show. After the incident, a thick black smoke was visible rising from the crash site near the airport. According to Indian Air Force, an Indian Air Force Tejas aircraft has crashed at the Dubai Air Show 25. Further details are being ascertained at the moment.
Reportedly, a Tejas fighter jet taking part in the Dubai Air Show nosedived during an aerial display and crashed this afternoon. The HAL-manufactured aircraft went down around 02:10 pm local time while performing manoeuvres in front of a large audience. However, official statement from the Indian Air Force is awaited.
After the deadly Tejas fighter crash, the IAF confirmed that the pilot died in the fighter crash. Here is the the full statement of the IAF on fighter jet crash- "An IAF Tejas aircraft met with an accident during an aerial display at Dubai Air Show, today. The pilot sustained fatal injuries in the accident. IAF deeply regrets the loss of life and stands firmly with the bereaved family in this time of grief. A court of inquiry is being constituted, to ascertain the cause of the accident."
