Political Flashpoint in Bengal: TMC MLA Madan Mitra Attacked in His Own Constituency, Protesters Hurl Eggs

Kolkata: There was uproar in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal on Sunday when the convoy of TMC MLA Madan Mitra faced opposition from protesters. Some people threw eggs on the vehicle of the MLA who reached Ariyadah area of  Kamarhati. This sudden incident created chaos in the area. Security personnel immediately took charge and took out Madan Mitra's vehicle from there.

Madan Mitra had come to attend a program. As soon as he arrived, some people started shouting slogans. Within no time the protest intensified and eggs were thrown from the crowd. Some of these eggs landed on the vehicle. The security personnel present at the spot tried to remove the protesters.
