Unnao rape case gets sensational twist after SHOCKING audio clip comes to light

Unnao rape case:  The investigation into the the Unnao rape took a shocking new turn on Friday following what has been claimed to be new facts regarding the alleged incident. The trial regarding the case, which took place in Uttar Pradesh, is currently being heard the Supreme Court. The Delhi High Court had earlier sentenced the main accused - BJP leader Kuldeep Singh Sengar - to life imprisonment, which has been stayed by the apex court. 

What is the new evidence in the case?

The new facts that have come to light are shocking. An audio recording has surfaced, containing a conversation between two people on a mobile phone. Top Indian News does not confirm the authenticity of this audio, nor does it confirm that the two people whose voices are claimed to be in the audio are the same individuals mentioned in the case. However, the things being said are shocking.

What does the audio tape reveal?

The audio reportedly contains the voices of the alleged victim and her relative (uncle). The date of this conversation has not been confirmed. Top Indian News (TIN) also does not confirm the authenticity of this audio. In the audio, the man claiming to be the girl's uncle is heard telling the girl to make scratch marks on her private parts. He also told her to have the other girls with her do the same.

In the audio, the uncle is also saying that when the alleged victim has to give her statement during the medico-legal examination, she should say that she was touched inappropriately.

What is the Unnao rape case?

This alleged audio is related to the Unnao rape case. In this case, former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar was convicted by the trial court and sentenced to life imprisonment. This case is from 2017, and Kuldeep Singh Sengar has been in jail for the past seven and a half years. Sengar challenged the trial court's decision in the Delhi High Court, and the Delhi High Court, while hearing the case, stayed Kuldeep Singh Sengar's conviction and granted him bail on December 23rd. The CBI then challenged the High Court's decision in the Supreme Court, which stayed the High Court's order, issued a notice to Kuldeep Singh Sengar, and scheduled the next hearing for a date after January 20.
