Lucknow: Preparations are underway for three-day long programs in the capital on the 76th Foundation Day of Uttar Pradesh. The administration plans to give a platform to the state's cultural heritage, food and development journey together on this occasion. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are proposed to attend the program.
During the event, there are also preparations to give UP Gaurav Samman to personalities who have done remarkable work in various fields. According to officials, emphasis is being laid on linking the Foundation Day with public participation rather than limiting it to just formal celebrations.
At the government level, it is being said that the purpose of this event is to bring forward the identity and achievements of the state. It also aims to indicate future plans and priorities.
There is a preparation to select those people for UP Gaurav Samman who have made a distinct identity in the field of education, social service, culture or innovation. These include Sudhanshu Singh, Shubhanshu Shukla, Hariom Pawar, Alakh Pandey and Rashmi Arya. The idea behind the selection is to ensure that people working at the local level get a platform.
