UP Government transfers 16 IAS officers in major reshuffle, Roshan Jacob replaced as Lucknow Commissioner

UP News: A major reshuffle has been done in the administrative department of Uttar Pradesh. 16 IAS officers were transferred on Tuesday evening. IAS Roshan Jacob, who was the commissioner of Lucknow division , has been removed. IAS Vijay Vishwas Pant has been appointed as the new commissioner in his place. IAS Roshan Jacob has now been sent to the post of Secretary Food Safety and Drug Administration Department, Uttar Pradesh.

IAS Vijay Vishwas Pant, who has been appointed as the new commissioner of Lucknow division, was till now the commissioner of Prayagraj division. IAS Anamika Singh has been appointed the commissioner of Bareilly division, while Saumya Agarwal has been appointed as the new commissioner of Prayagraj division. Along with this, IAS officer Kinjal Singh, who was till now on the post of Director General of Medical Education, has been sent to the post of Transport Commissioner.
