New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Sunday announced a 15-man squad for the ODI series in England, which starts from July 14. The three ODIs will be played in Birmingham (July 14), Cardiff (July 16), and London (July 19).
Virat Kohli has been named in the squad but his participation remains subject to fitness clearance. Recently, Kohli had missed the ODIs against Afghanistan and according to reports, he will be present at the BCCI CoE in Bengaluru on June 22 for re-evaluation and further planning.
Due to a hamstring injury, Virat Kohli has been out of action, which happened during his match-winning knock in the IPL final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru against Gujarat Titans last month.
Shubman Gill (Captain), Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer (Vice-Captain), KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan, Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Gurnur Brar.
Varun Chakaravarthy is currently in the final stages of his rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (formerly the NCA) after suffering a left leg injury in IPL 2026. He has been ruled out of the T20I series against Ireland.
Jasprit Bumrah, who was rested for the Afghanistan ODIs and the T20I leg of the UK tour (three T20Is against Ireland and five against England), will return to the ODI set-up.
