Sports News: Following the no-handshake incident, Pakistan's actions seem unstoppable. After canceling the pre-match press conference against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the league stage, Pakistan has repeated the same action before their Super Four match against India. Reports indicate that they have canceled the press conference scheduled for the ICC Academy. Meanwhile, reports are circulating that the Pakistan team is seeking the help of a motivational speaker before the match against Team India.

Pakistan did this act for the second time

This is the second time the Pakistan team has canceled a press conference in the Asia Cup 2025. They previously did so before their match against the UAE. Now, they have surprised everyone by repeating their actions before their Super Four match against Team India.

Meanwhile, reports are emerging that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has called in motivational speaker Dr. Raheel to boost the players' morale ahead of the crucial match against India on September 21. Following their crushing defeat to India in the league match, enthusiasm is low in the Pakistan camp, as the Suryakumar Yadav-led team defeated them by seven wickets.

Pakistan is angry over the no handshake issue

Pakistan's problems further worsened when the Indian team decided not to face Pakistan in the Asia Cup due to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The Pakistani team took offense to this move and has been constantly taking action. Meanwhile, the PCB also accused match referee Andy Pycroft of failing to take action against Team India.

They threatened to withdraw from the tournament if their demands were not met and delayed the start of their third group match against the UAE. However, after a meeting with Andy Pycroft, the PCB agreed to play in the tournament. The controversy did not end there. The ICC sent a stern email to the PCB for videotaping and releasing online the meeting with Pycroft in the Players and Match Officials Area (PMOA).

Pakistani team under pressure

In response to this email, the PCB stated that this was within ICC protocols. This off-field drama has further increased the pressure on the Pakistan team. The team, captained by Salman Agha, will need to perform well against the Indian team in the next match. Meanwhile, Andy Pycroft will once again act as match referee in this high-voltage match.
