Sachin Tendulkar's Son, Arjun marry Saaniya Chandhok in Mumbai

Mumbai: Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's son, Arjun Tendulkar on Thursday tied the knot with Saaniya Chandhok, a businesswoman and granddaughter of Mumbai industrialist Ravi Ghai, in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. The couple wedding celebration marked presence of several well-known figures from cricket, politics and business.

Suresh Raina wished the couple and their parents, while sharing a picture on Instagram with the caption, "Congratulations Arjun Tendulkar & Sanya! Wishing you both a very happy married life! Congratulations paji Sachin Tendulkar and  Anjali bhabhi."

In video shared by Viral Bhayani, the couple made their first appearance as Mr. and Mrs.

The couple hosted an intimate pre-wedding celebration, that show presence of  several well-known figures from cricket, politics and business. 

The wedding festivities began earlier this week and will conclude with the wedding on March 5.

Who all have arrived for the wedding event?

Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Shloka Mehta, and Akash Ambani also attended the wedding.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also attended the ceremony.

Yuvraj Singh with wife Hazel Keech also arrived for Arjun Tendulkar's wedding.

Former Indian Cricketer and President of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Venkatesh Prasad, along with his family, arrived to attend the wedding ceremony.

Former Indian Cricketer Kiran More, along with his wife, Raavi More also arrived in Mumbai to attend the wedding ceremony of Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok.

How was the sangeet and mehendi ceremony?

For the pre-wedding ceremony, the couple, Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok, wore a colour coordinated ivory outfit that gave a elegant and regal look. 

Arjun wore a classic ivory sherwani, that featured all-over tonal embroidery that added texture to outfit without making it feel heavy. 

Saaniya wore a silver lehenga that featured sequins and threadwork, the outfit created a luminous effect under the lights

Sachin Tendulkar opted for a vibrant green kurta-pyjama with a printed jacket, while his wife Anjali Tendulkar wore a beautiful blue outfit adorned with heavy jewellery. 

Sara Tendulkar looked beautiful in a pink lehenga with heavy mirror-work  by designer Arpita Mehta at his brother Arjun Tendulkar’s pre-wedding celebrations.

A number of former cricketers were spotted at the celebration, including Zaheer Khan with actress Sagarika Ghatge, Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra, and Irfan Pathan with his wife Sara Baig. Also present were former coach Ravi Shastri and World Cup-winning star Yuvraj Singh along with Hazel Keech.

Who is Saaniya Chandhok?

Saaniya Chandhok comes from a well-known Delhi-based family. She is the granddaughter of Ravi Ghai and is said to share a long-standing relationship with Arjun. While she largely stays away from the public spotlight, she is known within social circles and among family friends.

Those familiar with the couple describe the relationship as steady and grounded, built over time rather than sudden attention.

The couple had earlier got engaged in August 2025 in a private ceremony attended by close friends and relatives.
