Delhi: Kailash Deepak Hospital, Delhi, successfully organised a Free Mega Health Check-up Camp and Health Awareness Lecture on Sunday. This public welfare initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from presidents, secretaries, and office bearers of various nearby Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), and a large number of residents, who benefited from free health check-ups and consultations with specialist doctors.

Why does the hospital organise free health camps?

On this occasion, Dr Sudhir Kumar Verma, Medical Superintendent, Kailash Deepak Hospital, said, "Preventive healthcare services are the foundation of a healthy society. Timely health check-ups and early detection of diseases can help prevent serious illnesses. During the event, the hospital's Oncology Team delivered an informative lecture on cancer awareness and addressed the questions and concerns of the attendees. Additionally, Dr Satish Bhardwaj shared valuable insights on Weight Management, emphasising the importance of a balanced lifestyle and healthy nutrition.

Participants at the camp were provided with free health screening services, including Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, ECG (Electrocardiogram), Pap Smear, Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), Routine Urine Test, Height and Weight Measurement, along with expert medical consultations by specialist doctors.
