Train Services Affected: Routes Changed, Schedules Revised Due to Construction

New Delhi: Rail traffic will be affected due to the construction of a Limited Height Subway (LHS) to replace Level Crossing No. 77 between Bhaini Khurd and Tarawari railway stations in the Delhi Division. A power and traffic block of approximately three hours will be implemented to facilitate the installation and removal of safety plates required for placing RCC boxes. Consequently, the routes and timings of several trains have been modified.

According to Northern Railway, certain trains will run via diverted routes on September 28 and October 14, 2026, due to this construction work. Train No. 11905 (Agra Cantt–Hoshiarpur) will operate via the New Delhi–Jind/Jakhal–Dhuri–Ludhiana route instead of its scheduled New Delhi–Panipat–Ambala Cantt–Chandigarh–Ludhiana route. Stops at Panipat, Karnal, Ambala Cantt, and Chandigarh will be affected during this period.

Similarly, Train No. 12414 (Jammu Tawi–Ajmer) will run via the Kurukshetra–Narwana–Shakur Basti–Delhi Junction route. This train will not stop at Karnal station, and its direction of travel will be reversed at Kurukshetra.

Changes to Train Timings

• Train No. 20434 (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra–Subedarganj) will depart from Katra at 5:15 PM, a delay of approximately 120 minutes from its scheduled time.
• Train No. 14054 (Kartoli Punjab–Delhi Junction) will depart at 10:00 PM, facing a delay of approximately 65 minutes. Train No. 12266 (Jammu Tawi–Delhi Sarai Rohilla) will depart from Jammu Tawi at 8:45 PM, marking a delay of approximately 90 minutes.
• Meanwhile, Train No. 14053 (Delhi Junction–Kartoli Punjab) will depart at 12:50 AM on September 29 instead of the night of September 28; this train is rescheduled with a delay of about 120 minutes.
• Additionally, Train No. 13052 (Kalka–Howrah) will be regulated for approximately 15 minutes at Tarawari station.
